OneGoethe Plaza
Glamour and business come together at Goethestraße Number 1 in Frankfurt am Main— an address synonymous with exclusivity. The iconic corner building with its distinctive glass pyramid marks the entrance to the “Fifth Avenue of Frankfurt,” Goethestraße, known for its luxurious brands and stylish office and practice spaces.
The original building was completely deconstructed to make way for the new ONE GOETHEPLAZA—a prestigious complex for flagship stores and international, representative offices. With terraces and stunning views of the skyline, the building offers a prime location in the Central Business District (CBD), combining modern design with top-notch functionality.

Special features
The construction project posed a technically demanding challenge, particularly due to the combined slab and pile foundation, as well as the underpinning and anchoring on neighboring properties, situated directly next to the subway. A particularly complex aspect was the support of an entire neighboring gable wall, enabling the “gap construction.” The inner-city location also resulted in logistically challenging construction conditions, requiring precise planning and execution.
Additionally, the project required an elaborate subdivision of the buildings, including redundant safety technology, as well as individual structural modifications within the retail spaces. The façade design is of very high quality, as four different façade views were created to give the impression of “four separate buildings.” High demands for fire protection and design shaped the entire construction project. Tenant management, along with inner-city construction logistics, further added to the project’s complexity.
In 2014, the project was awarded the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany (Silver).
